Welcome to my new series PIMP 101s! In this series i will review every possible thing you can put in your class! Thats right everything from perks,weapons,kill streaks, you name it and it will be covered! I am in no way shape or form the "best player ever" however i do have decent stats and i do a good job.

The AK-47 was developed in the Soviet union in 1944. It is a very popular assault rifle, It has been found in the illegal black market, in ghettos , in militaries , in crime organizations, or simple as a household "toy". This gun has been in the call of duty series for quite some time. In popular COD Games, it has made appearances in COD4,MW2,BO,MW3. In MW3 this gun is unlocked at level 68. Today this gun will be analyzed.

In this section of the thread i will rate the effectiveness of every proficiency when used with this weapon (I will make a PIMP 101s exclusively for proficiencies!)
Kick (unlocked at level 4)
Kick is a good and widely popular! The AK does have a good amount of recoil when compared to its enemies (The ACR,The FAD, etc).It is a nice proficiency to have in your first games with this weapon, but should you continue to use it?
Impact(unlocked at level 9)
Impact is a nice proficiency, it is very useful when using silencer. A common misconception is impact adds damage to the gun, this is not true! This is good when extended mags or a suppressor is added to the AK47. Very useful for doing "wallbangs".
Attachments(unlocked at level 12)
Attachments is a very good proficiency,Having 2 attachments is very beneficial. Although when you add the grenade launcher,shotgun, or a sight there are limitations. Very good for working on weapon challenges involving attachments.
Focus(unlocked at level 16)
This is my personal favorite proficiency! Very beast when using the AK-47. As you will win a lot of unbias gun fights. In my honest opinion this is under used and it will save you alot of times. Wait until the end of the gun (level 31),To use this, as attachments is beneficial as well!
Breath(unlocked at level 22)
Very poor proficiency, arguably the worst thing you can put in your class. As you can just press Triangle on ps3 and keep aiming. May have some uses for camping in a corner for say a SnD game.
Stability (unlocked at level 28 )
This is a decent proficiency, however the AK-47 does not sway that much as opposed to a sniper rifle . Sometimes the sway can even lead you to the headshot.
Use Kick until you earn attachments, then use focus at level 31.
Red dot sight (unlocked at level 2)
Very common attachment, good for ranking up the weapon. Although the AK has a nice iorn sights,Therefore, somewhat unnecessary.
Silencer (unlocked at level 5)
A good attachment, however it does kill some good range off the AK which may cost you the gunfight. On the other side, its never a bad idea to have the stealth advantage with this weapon.
Grenade launcher (unlocked at level 8 )
The grenade launcher has lost a lot of prestige since Black ops. The grenade launcher generally requires 2 shells to kill 1 person. However, yes if your lucky you can get a multi kill or hit another explosive. There have been reports of this speeding up assault rifles but i don't feel it.
Acog (unlocked at level 11)
Probably one of the worst attachments you can put on this gun based on the sway, and the waste of space on the screen.
Heartbeat (unlocked at level 14)
Decent attachment , however you are better off using the portable radar (if unlocked) , and with enemies using assassin. Not worth the attachment, as it is unreliable.
Holographic (unlocked at level 17)
Holographic is useful for long range affair, however your better off using a red dot. A holographic gives you a lot of zoom, but it can be considered to much and it does take up a lot of space.
Shotgun (unlocked at level 20)
Not the best attachment on earth, theories have shown a increase in weapon speed. However, the shotgun itself is a 2 shot from close range.
Hybrid (unlocked at level 23)
Decent sight for a map such like lockdown. The ability to change sights and zooms is nice, however if you get flanked you are at risk of losing your streak.
Extended mags(unlocked at level 26)
Very useful attachment, 15 extra rounds is beast. Very useful when scavenger is added!
Thermal (unlocked at level 29)
Theories of speed increase , see enemies in thermal vision from miles away (unless assassin is added)
Conclusion : use silencer , red dot , or extended mags :y:
My rating for this gun is a 4/5. It is a very balanced gun, although it can be beat by say an ACR. It is very nice.
