    How to share PSN content




    Sharing content over PSN is not a new thing and ALOT of people already know how to do this, but I figured that NGU needs an official tutorial on how to! It's a really simple process if both parts are to trust, and shouldn't take more than a few minutes. With those few words being said, lets get started!



    Here is a few things that you should think about before you content-share.

    - Only share with people you trust.
    - Be sure to remove your billing information before you let someone access your account.
    - The Ps3 system allows your PSN to be active on 2 consoles at the same time.
    - You cannot deactivate the account after the sharing is done. This will leave the content un-accessible.
    - DLC's and other additional content is region locked to match the game's region.



    Tutorial.

    Step 1. Change your password to something easy that is nowhere near your usual password.

    Step 2. Give the e-mail and password to the person you are sharing with and log out. When you are logged out, you tell the person to make a new account on the Ps3.

    Step 3. When he is signed in, have him go over to the PSN tab and choose "Sign in with existing PSN ID." Tell him to sign in with the details you gave him.

    Step 4. When he is signed in, have him go over to "PlayStation network -> Account management -> Transaction management -> Download list." Tell him to find the item he want and to start downloading it.

    Step 5. When the download has started, you can tell him to log out of your account, log in to hes own and wait for the download to complete. When the content is finished downloading, he can play it using hes own account.

    Step 6. When the sharing is complete, you can change your password back and add in your billing information again.


    Deactivation.

    If you want to content share with more than 1 person, he would have to deactivate your account from hes system. Here is how to.
    *Note* As I said above, the person deactivating the account will no longer be able to use the content he downloaded.

    Spoiler:
    Step 1. Log into the account and go to "Account management -> System activation -> PS3 System -> GAME."

    Isn't it only limited to 2 ps3's now? I tried gamesharing elite premium drops to a 3rd person and it didn't work D:
