While scrolling through my Twitter feed, it was posted by a trustworthy Black Ops 2 news informative Twitter, @BlackOpsIINews, the loathed perk Second Chance will not be featured in this anticipated title.

The perk has always been hated, causing much stress throughout the competitive Call of Duty players. This was also announced by Robert Bowling, former Creative Strategist of Infinity Ward before the release of Modern Warfare 3, but soon to find out that the perk was just re-named, leaving fans enraged with the decisions of the company.

It seems to be a useless perk, being shot down on your back, giving you a "second chance" while pulling out your secondary weapon, and shooting God knows what lies ahead of you as if there's no tomorrow. Could this be the end of Last Stand/Second Chance as a whole for Call of Duty? What do you think?

They better not pull something and put something similar to it in the game.

I remember Robert Bowling saying the same on COD XP, yet they added Final Chance as a Death Perk..

As long as they seriously mean it. Infinity Ward was so stupid to think that re-naming it and making it a death streak perk only would satisfy us.

Glad to see that Treyarch truly is listening to the community. :y:

Now they need to announce that there won't be martyrdom and I might think about buying that game :smile:

And now the community will have something else to complain endlessly about...

It's Treyarch they don't use death streaks so we should be ok!

Actually, if we are being fair, Infinity Ward made it harder for last chance to come up so much. It was just the people that died 4 times in a row that they went into last chance.

So its really the suckish players that cause IW to look bad by keeping it in the game.


Don't get me wrong I hate the perk either way, but ^^^ is the fair truth.
