In the midst of an interview with You must login or register to view this content.'s Ed Boon, strong hints were given that there just might be an exclusive Xbox 360 Mortal Kombat character, since the Playstation 3 has Kratos.

Boon stated:

I don’t remember the last time we were this far along in a game and we had still major stuff to announce for it. So, not all the characters have been announced; on purpose we really wanted to have a lot of stuff that people won’t know about the game – to me, I’ve always wanted to have a question mark over the game; what’s hidden in the game; there’s a ton of hidden stuff in the game.

He also hinted:

Well, there’s nothing that we have ready to announce but we love our 360 players and we love our PS3 players and I think everybody’s gonna get something they’ll be happy with.

Later in the interview, Boon announced there will be 5 or 6 characters that have not been announced yet. Mortal Kombat is set to be released on both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on April 19th.

They only have like one choice, Dante. He would be he only one that would fit for the series. If they had him I would buy both versions!

Yup. If you've played as dante in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 you will know why he works so well in a fighting game.

Oh, I have. I love MK vs. Capcom 3. My favorite player is Deadpool.

But yeah, Dante would be a good choice, he isn't too cartoon-y, either.

Ryu Hayabusa from the DOA/Ninja Gaiden.
although I think ninja gaiden was released on PS3 he's still the only character that fits the game mechanics and still stays on the border of being "exclusive to xbox" since DOA4 was only released only on xbox.

Skilled at hand to hand fights aswell as plenty of ninja weaponry Ryu would fit perfectly along with the rest of the MK ninjas.

I just hope to hell its Not someone from Halo.... DOA4 already did that/facepalm

there has to be! u cant have an exclusive on one console and not the other that could kill sales instantly cuz all the xbox 360 fanboys will boycott MK just for that reason! If there is one i wonder who it will b? that is the question
