EASTER EGGS
Red Dead Easter Egg:
You can find Red Dead Redemption’s John Marston cowboy hat in LA Noire’s “The Silk Stocking Murder” Case. Follow the long blood trail leading onto the roof, and examine the dead body to find all the clues, you’ll then be back in your car. Instead of driving away, turn around and walk into the alley behind you where there’s a trash can with said cowboy hat in it!
Two & a Half Men (Alan Harper)
The actor who plays Alan Harper on Two and a Half Men (Jon Cryer) has a little cameo in LA Noire where he dresses and acts very similar to his comedy TV show persona.

SECRET TROPHIES & ACHIEVEMENTS
There are nine hidden L.A. Noire Achievements and Trophies, but five of those will unlock as you play, after each set of police desks have been completed.
Stab-Rite
Bronze/15G
During the case at Ray’s Café, a knife is stashed in the bin in the alleyway adjacent. Be sure to collect this the first time you visit the crime scene, rather than having to return for a second search.
Round Heels
Bronze/15G
During the homicide case when you visit the Bamba Café and speak to Dick McColl, have him give up the number plate for Celine Henry’s vehicle. When asking about the suspect being seen with the victim, answer truth and he’ll cough up the info.
The Fighting Sixth
Bronze/15G
At the scene with the bus shooting, interrogate Felix Alvarro correctly for him to give you additional information. You need to get both questions right, first reply with ‘oubt’ then reply with ‘Lie’, using the Sniper Pocketbook as evidence.
Huckster
Bronze/15G
When speaking to Leland Monroe at Elysian Fields, you need to have him give you extra information by answering all questions correctly. In order of the first question to the last, these are the necessary answers: doubt, lie (with the flyers as evidence), doubt and then lie (with the cement quality as proof).
HIDDEN CARS
There are 15 hidden cars throughout the game. Each of these are park in hidden garages, each of which has a security logo on the gate. Enter the nearby doors to find and unlock these cars, most of which are ridiculously fast. Collecting all 95 vehicles in the game will unlock the ‘Auto Fanatic’ Trophy or Achievement, too, so well worth collecting these hidden ones early on. Here is each of L.A. Noire’s hidden car locations:

The following 5 users say thank you to I_BULLET_I for this useful post:
I was wondering why the Irish Cop looked and sounded so familiar. I kept think I had seen him before but thought no cos it's a new game. Glad I know I'm not going mental. The other stuff will come in useful after I complete the game.
