Try the Xbox website, it has troubleshooting guides. This happened to my freind so he checked the site.

if its a secured network and all you will have to enter a WEP code. its weird i had this problem a week ago and i can't remember what i did, you might not get a good enough connection from your router

I hope you have better luck with your then I did mine, kept losing connection and was laggy. Went to ebgames and traded it for a game, works perfectly now!!

Your computer connection might not be running right, i have a wired connection because we couldn't find the right wireless adaptor for my computer, plus it has Windows Vista. you might need to take it to a computer store and have them look at it, or look at the Xbox website, or try looking in the instruction manual. Hope this helps.

Best advice is to check the xbox website as everyone says or get a specialist to check it out in a store or whatever, though I prefer to have wired myself, rarely lags and doesn't randomly disconnect which is nice as I hear Wireless tends to muck up alot.
