I got both. Gaming is better on ps4. Xone is better for entertainment. Winner in my house xone with it hooked up to cable and everything. Just switches between games and TV and can do both at the same time so I love that.

i have both and prefer xbox one plus it feels more stable ps4 just feels laggy as fk at times plus the controller sucks.

It really depends on personal preference, I would say go where friends go, I have an XB1 and have played a PS4, in the end both are console and both do the same thing, I like the XB1 for Forza but would prefer a PS4 because the majority of my friends and 'colleges' are situated there.
