Many different grid designs are included in the collection. The custom shapes can be applied as a fill as above or they can be used as a shape layer or a path / selection. The shapes can also be exported to other applications via a path setting to Illustrator and many other applications. The shapes are cross platform and can be used on the PC as well as MAC. The other shapes design is a contour inset design, the set includes many different contour designs from basic ones to weird and wonderful contour shapes.
Examples of custom shapes (as fill designs) in Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. The collection comes with 1000s and 1000s of superb shapes for many uses, commercial as well as hobby. The shapes can be applied with the current foreground color. The other example shows blobs of paint custom shapes
Many circular or arc designs are included in the custom shapes collection. The shapes are easy to install, place the CSH shapes file into the presets shapes folder of Photoshop and then access via the shapes palette (shape tool) or use the preset manager in the edit menu. The other example shows a flag design using shapes
The shapes set also includes many letter and number shapes. The shapes can be applied to the current layer or background, if applied to a new layer, styles such as a drop shadow can be applied to the custom shapes. The shapes collection includes tribal designs as well as star designs (great for flares). The shapes collection also comes with a number of bonus additional custom shapes as well as 2000 colorful gradients. The gradients can be used in the layer effects dialog and applied to the custom shapes or used in combination with the shapes in a fill design. The gradients can also be used to define fill content.
The shapes collection comes with many circular as well as alien face designs. The second example is a sphere or spheroid design (a selection are included such as a stars and square sphere designs)
Custom shapes can be used for border designs and frame designs. Shapes can be combined with text.
Alien and warped shapes abound in the custom shapes collection. The shapes are spread over many different CSH custom shapes files. You can always use the shape as a start point, modify the shape design using the warping tools or transformation tools or the point tools and then define a new custom shape, saving the shapes to a new custom shapes library.
