Ok I am trying to make a mod Disc type of edit. I have already went to SYSTEM-> BACKUP UTILITY and made a back up of the hard disc to my USB about 6.9 GIGS. I then installed the USB in my Laptop and opened the new PS3 folder and went into the SOCOM GAME DATA not GAME SAVE! the DATA has all the GAME DATA (Guns, AMO, Fire rate, ETC.)

I have made a few changes in HEX Editor and placed the USB back into the PS3 then done a restore the NEW data is now installed however I get GAME DATA is corrupt and it makes me reinstall it. I know im not editing it properly but this is where I am at, I used to be a ace at making mod disc and I know when there is an error on a mod disc the game won't load so its just a matter of time before I get it right. I am posting this so others can help with HEX EDITING the game. Lets get this game hacked im ready for 1 shot kill and no reload, recoil, etc.

PLEASE POST FINDINGS I will post any new updates I find.

do you really think /6 will let you cheat? they are prepared to ban cheaters

You do know this is completely different than how ps2 discs were done right? And Oc, No cheating has been done, so how are they going to detect it? But yea even if you get that far(which I doubt) You're not going to have a very long opportunity to use it before some inevitably reports you. Good luck though. At least you're taking initiative.

why dont you just wait until me and gtlcpimp ge this dev kit from the cyndicate and program a cheat device which will be very soon, sony left there guard down big time. plus theres no anti cheat system or moderation. And i already know what ur doing wrong..
