I've tried downloading the patch, it doesn't work and downloading any sort of eboot doesnt work either, someone please help me?

Try removing all the save data utility / game utility & Then redo the update 1.06 from multiman , Load PSN patch patch the game , Go back into multiman place your custom EBOOT in USIR if you have one , Load Irisman then try load the game.
