When I go to that app and get an app that I want and I download it then install it but it doesn't come up on my home screen.

Usually when that happens to me it outputs an error saying the app couldnt be installed. I also have it so when the app is installed its automatically deleted from my downloads, so if the app still shows up in my downloads that usually means it wasnt installed properly.

go back to installous and check your downloads and press it and press install.

Respring the device
