No way, I never heard of this; I was told there was a way to glitch into having 8 players, but I can just do some research, see if I find anything

yup, its possible to play with 18 players
the lobby 18 players is possible in MP/ZM
and in-game its possible # in MP, idk about ZM

change these two dvars to 18

com_maxclients

I think you can use a rtm tool with cbuf_addtext, but I'm no good with dvars lol.
