Yea. You can actually play it with 4 players. It's called "split-screen" lol

And how to do that

If you have another controller. Go to the multiplayer main lobby and then press x on the other controller. You should be able to "sign in as guest" with that controller. Then when you play a game, you will have a split screen so that both you and another person can play together
