Post: New PSN accounts freezing on BO2 startup.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); My old PSN account logs into BO2 with no issue, but I made a new one today and every time I play BO2 with it, it freezes on startup presumably because of the antiban eboot.
The account isn't banned. Anyone else having the same issue? If not, what eboot are you using?

Edit: This is happening on legit PS3s too. wtf?

Thanks for the help but unfortunately it is still freezing as soon as the Main Menu screen loads up.
I've been investigating further, and as the other poster has said, I am also freezing at the same spot when using a completely clean install of BO2 with no modded files. If anything, it may just be something firmware-related?

Both BLES and BLUS versions have the same issue.

Alright another update, I have now tried making a new account and using it on a LEGIT PS3 no mods or anything whatsoever. Freezes.
I have changed my IP and even tried using a mobile hotspot and I am still freezing when using a new PSN account. It must be something on activision's end causing the issue.

Any ideas?

Same problem here

Yeah so the way I see it, is that maybe activision's BO2 server no longer registers new players.
I haven't seen anyone else bring up this problem online but hopefully they will fix this eventually...
