i have been strugglin to do that 4 ages yet still i cnt do it loll

i'm trying to do it on crossfire to get up to the top lvl i have a ps3 cud someone help me??
do u have to stand in a certain place?
if i hold my analouge stick down i either fall off the rock or get stuck so i cnt jump lol
wot the hell am i doing wrong !!!!
