A gamer much like us, spends most of his gaming time cleaning his inbox of dozens of friend requests each day, most of them containing requests from mercy pleas of Call of Duty hackers/cheaters. What happened? His gamertag was shown in the new Black Ops Map pack trailer.

For you guys who haven't seen it, here it is:

Skip to 0:24 seconds and you'll see his gamertag, it re-appears throughout the trailer, you see the kill ticker show the tag "Polar." Though it's probably a bot or placeholder name Treyarch used for the multiplayer capture, plenty of people thought it was a real tag, used by a real developer, and spammed it with friend requests. Most of them spelled three or more words correctly, too. Like this one:
