Infinity Ward’s Executive Producer Mark Rubin recently answered some questions from fans on Twitter and revealed some details regarding developing the current & next-gen build. When a fan asked if dynamic maps and player customization were coming to current-gen consoles, not only did Mark confirm that they were, but also mentioned it almost didn’t happen due to “memory limitations”.

If you remember back in the MW3 days, we continually asked, no begged Infinity Ward to add gun DLC, unfortunately it wasn’t a possibility back then due to memory limitations. It would be interesting to find out if this is all possible due to the new engine, or maybe even a mandatory install?

In Flames Much?
Most likely scaled down versions compared to the newer consoles.
So you're going to get less for more.

10 million to make COD on a platform that could make you 1 billion vs a new platform with a limited user base and a 20 million to make the game.
