what you will need
1 your spec op save
2 this spec ops save You must login or register to view this content.
3 a usb stick
4 notepad

step 1
copy your save data onto usb

step 2
open the prama.sfo file with note pad (prama.sfo may be wrong name but it is the only .sfo file)

step 3
find you 16 digit user id and save it write it down (it is case sensitive)

step 4
open the .sfo file from the one you donwloaded and replace the user id with your use found

step 5
save and copy back to usb

step 6
copy to ps3 and hope it works

remember to save the .sfo file as an .sfo not a .txt
also remember who found this out and don't steal my idea if it work

You should try the CFW method if you can

yes but this is easy to do and if it work it will work on cfw and ofw
btw dont use the .sfo editor that lets you change the user id because it replace the r in a circle symbol with 2 questions mark and comes up with corrupt data when trying to copy to ps3

Don't work corrupts the save the files are too encrypted don't think there will be a way till we how to decrypt the code.

it won't work there is another file i think its another param but ends with .pdf or .pfd
anyone based on my research when i was on CFW this the param.sfo have a copy inside the other param
unless we can decrypt the other param there is no hope for savedata transfer

note: some games work and some doesn't i'm pretty sure all games before 2009 (2008 and below) don't have param.pfd so its you and your luck

sorry i didnt post any sooner but may internet went down but back to the subject i have tryed 2 or 3 other ways but none have worked i will have a look into what you said Battler624 and post back if i get it working
