We know that COD Mobile has MW characters, such as Price, which means It must take place in the COD MW timeline.

But then again, It has futuristic guns, such as the CHICOM, which points to either the AW or BO timeline, which is probably a different timeline from MW.

Then there's the fact that It has zombies*,* while using characters not from the Zombies timeline.

So, this begs the question, what exactly is the lore with COD Mobile?

Is It a weird mishmash of these universes in a single universes?
Or could the game be part of COD BO4's Project Blackout and the characters are actually some sort of new Archetype?
