(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I decided to go back to Destiny today to get the latest update, and during the download I get an error (CE-36244-9) I don't know if anyone knows what it means, maybe just a corrupt update file?

I've Googled it to find out that connecting to Googles DNS servers work, apparently as it doesn't work for me, I've also tried a static IP and my internet speed is 32 Mbps so I don't know what's causing it.

If there's no fix I might just resort to the reset.

Never mind it turned out to be my broadband providers latest router update corrupting all downloads

Did you try re-downloading the update file? If so, try rebuilding the database from safe mode.

Yes, you can get into safe mode just like PS3. Follow this guide:

If rebuilding the database didn't fix you're issue, your game files are corrupted. Delete Destiny and re-install it.
In extreme cases, you may have to initialize your PS4.

Looks like I need to initialise it then, someone else claims initialising doesn't work either
