(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); When i first start up my PC, the card (Sapphire Vapor-x 5770 1GB) will work great and get great framerates, but it will run around 80-85 degrees Celsius under load. However, if i let it idle for 15 minutes, the card runs at less than 65 degrees Celsius under load(never goes higher, even in furmark), and my framerates suck. Is this a driver issue? Anything i can do?

Perhaps you can try updating/reinstalling your driver, as that is always a good first step, but since you say it runs into this problem after 15 minutes, perhaps there's something triggering it?

Is it always after 15 minutes, or does it vary?

I believe i found the problem. If i have google chrome open when i am playing, it will make my framerate drop significantly.

It was only after i installed/removed all my drivers like 3 times that i found this out. I just always had an internet browser open lol.
