Open notepad
Copy this code in the text file....

"X5O!P%@AP[4\PZX54(P^)7CC)7}$EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE!$H+H*"

without qutoes....

then save it with the name fakevirus.exe

If this file got deleted immediately ....that means ur antivirus is working n updated

PS. if the antivirus does not delete it, there is no harm done, BUT you'll know that somethings pretty wrong on your system

well i did not get it from there my friend told me about it so i posted it to share with nextgenupdate stop trina flame pls. plus this was never posted on nextgen so thanks

You do know why this works like it does? Deleting the file


because it detects the strings that you used as a virus.

You didn't even remove the "EICAR-Standard-Virus-Test-File" from the line of code you posted?

Handy thanks for sharing also I don't care that It's a copy paste I wouldn't have found out about it if it had not been posted here some people on ngu really need to come of there high horse and just chill out about people posting stuff at least there trying to contribute to the community not run it into the ground.
