Post: How To Add Special/Hidden Parts To "ALMOST" Any Car
05-31-2013, 06:56 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I didn't see a "How To".... So, I thought I'll share

Special/ Hidden Parts Meaning ;

Ultra & Super High Turbos
4,6,8 & Ceramic Piston Brakes (I haven't found out what car takes 6 & 8 or Ceramic yet, but most cars takes 4)
Catalytic Convert: Racing
Engine Stage 4 & 5 (Only car I seen take this is the "Honda Civic Type R (EK) '97
Ect............

Ok, All you have to do to your car is take off the parts. Ex, Switch "Catalytic Convert" to "Standard". Then go to the items and install the "Catalytic Convert: Racing". You should see an increase in HP.
This work for all parts...... BUT.... Be aware that if your car cannot take the original stages of Turbo, No Ultra & Super Turbo can be installed. As for Engine Stages 4 & 5, Even if your car is N/A, It still may not take it like I said what I found earlier. Hex edit will not work either. It just drops your HP.
The weight stages 4 & 5 can be applied only if you have the 1st 3 stages installed. (Most cars, But not race cars)

To be brief, take off all the car parts and then try to add them. AND.... to save a lot of you some time.
All Race Modified Cars cannot be giving a triple clutch or racing flywheel. PD locked those in. Even if you Hex/Brute force them. It's a No-Go. From what I tried so far... None of the parts can be Hex/Brute force from 1 car to the next.
You will loose HP if you do so. Right Now, I'm sitting on a 388hp/10200rpm Civic '97 & 896hp/9000rpm Audi R8 '09.

If you already altered your car with the "Garage Editor" FFFFFFFFF Thingy, Most likely none of these parts will work.
What I don't like about "Garage Editor" is 2 things
1. When you do the FFFFFFFF thing to turbo, The car looses the LSD. When you put the LSD on, the rev meter is way to small for my taste. My cars would red line quickly. Not Practical.
2. The "Country - Hybrid" listing in my garage. I just don't like it. (I have OCD with things like this, lol) But I found out a way to get the cars out of the "Hybrid" listing. If you have a dummy account.... Do the barrow glitch with garage editor. For someone with a lot of Hybrids, That's a lot of time undoing that mess. So I'll stick to Hex Edit. Luckily I only had 3 cars in the hybrid listing that I've taken out already.

Now.... Can anyone share with me where in the heck is the rims hex offset location is to change the rims? I kinda of figured that standard cars can only get the rims that PD set them to get (I used garage editor), but I sure would like to try some premiums on a standard. I can imagine how a 330i would look with ENKEI SC03's.

Happy Modding! :evil:

I've never needed to unequip the parts before applying the racing catalytic converter. Just saying Smile and that EK should have closer to 450 hp, since it can take the stage 5 turbo and stage 5 engine upgrades.

Yep, I never uninstalled any parts either and all hidden parts fitted without problems. Also, do check all of your race cars as some of them actually accept a Weight Stage 5 Reduction.

Some cars off the top of my head that I have fitted with Stage 4 or 5 turbo's, most will also get down to 1200kg or less with the extra weight reduction:

Supra RZ '97 - 1050HP (Ultra), 1090HP (Super)
Supra Turbo '88 - 880HP
Mitshibushi 3000GT '95 (1170HP) and '98 (1070HP)
Tommy Kairi ZZII - 985HP and only 902KG
Fairlady 300Z '89 - 1060HP
Jaguar XJ220 - 1070HP (This thing can rape Le Mans cars)
Most Skylines, including the pace car - R33's (830HP with both Ultra and Super Turbos), R34's (950HP I think with both Turbos)
Lotus Esprit's - 1060HP and around 1000KG
RUF YellowBird - 836HP but ridiculously lightweight
Toyota Soarer and GS300 - 870HP

I've done more but can't remember without having the game on. Most of those cars reach 260-270MPH, the 4WD vehicles will pull 0-60MPH between 1.9s - 2.2s while the FR cars tend to be 2.4s - 2.9s, all of them 0-100MPh in 3.8s - 4.5s, the quarter mile in 8.9s - 9.8s and the full mile in 21s - 23s.
