Hurah!
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello readers, I'm looking for some help pertaining to GTA V.
I am currently running Rebug 4.80.1 DEX-Cobra Enabled - WEBMAN Enabled - BOOT MODE = Release Mode
I am loading GTA V through my HDD (DUPLEX back-up), since I cannot use my disc copy (broken Disc Drive).
I cannot get past the "Loading Story Mode" screen. I am on update 1.27 right now, no mods, clean files.
I've tried to delete the updates and run with no patches, nothing.
I've tried reinstalling the game, nothing.
I've tried System Software BOOT MODE, nothing.
I've tried most combos together with the Release BOOT MODE.

I have tried using EBOOT fixes (for 1.27) in the update folder, so hdd0/game/BLES01807USDIR/replace EBOOT.bin, nothing worked.
I have not tried a possible EBOOT fix in the GAMEs folder, hdd0/GAMES/BLES01807/USDIR/replace EBOOT.bin.

If anyone has any fixes or tips, can you please help a man out? Thank you!

EDIT: I GOT IT TO WORK.
1. I retransferred the entire game back over to my HDD. (Make sure you are using a good backup of the game)
2. Reinstall the mandatory game files (should do so when you boot up the game), do not install the updates just yet.
3. Install the updates after the game files. (Should prompt you to update if you have an internet connection).
4. Change BOOT Mode from "System Software Mode" to "Release Mode"
5.It worked for me after this.
6. Try mods. (I haven't done so yet)

Thank you to all those who suggested fiexs!

Maybe try a different rip of the game?

Could be a couple things so without trying to trouble shoot it all simply:
delete the Bles01807 & Bles01807install folders from the "game" folder.
Then mount the game with Multiman.
Make sure you have an internet connection then start the game.
It will tell you update1.27 available. Select ok.
after 22 updates and an 8.4gb install you will have a fresh install and your problem should be fixed
