It's very simple you can change from male to female or otherwise.
Step 1.
Make a new gta online character.
Step 2
Skip the tutorial
Step 3
Change character to your main character.
Step4
Once your main character is loaded change your character to your new level 1 character.
Step 5.
Then there's the message do you want to change your character's appearance...
Step 6
Plug out your internet cord, wifi or something.
Step 7
Then it goes to singleplayer log back in on psn or xbox.
Step 8
Go to online and click on choose character
Step 9
Choose your maincharacter.
Step 10,
enjoy editing your character.
