(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Here's an interesting map I made of tweets (You must login or register to view this content.) around the world. I recorded 2.9 million tweets over the course of 2-3 days. Red pixels indicate locations where at least one tweet was made.

You must login or register to view this content.


Animated version over the course of 4 days. It's best to view it full screen at 1080p quality.

I was meant to put a question mark after I put the maploco link lol. Yeah It was just meant to be a question but I forgot the "?" my bad. I saw this map and I noticed it from maploco thats all :p

Here's the animated version. Not very exciting, but it's a start. It's best to view it in 1080p at full screen if your computer can handle it.

Hmmm, not sure if you can do this, but maybe color code the dots depending on what they're tweeting from? Computer red and mobile blue?

Unfortunately I didn't log that data, but if it's available via the API I could start doing so. Though since these are all tweets with a location, the majority of them are likely from mobile devices that have a GPS.
