Did you update to the offical 1.01 first and then replace it? Only way this will work

Yes, I did, and the game doesn't boot, just stay loading with the "small squares" and black screen after that...the LOADING CIRCLE doesn't appear...

I had that happen to me the 1st time. The squares would show up and then black screen. I updated to 1.01 and then added my eboot and i was fine.

But when that happened i deleted the update and install data and then redid it and i was fine

I have no idea as it is keyed into 4.75

Is the game copied to the ext or hdd? Works alot better when directly copied to hdd
