So, just incase anybody actually still plays CoD 4, you may getting the Yes/No Confirm error, and if you're using a wifi connection, it is doubly frustrating to work around it... But I have found a really simple way to permanently fix this issue. Steps as follows...

1.) Go to your router settings page (commonly 192.169.0.1)
2.) Find the website blocker option
3.) Add the following address and keyword to the block list: cod4mw-ps3update.charlieoscardelta.com, charlieoscardelta.
4.) Apply the settings (if needed)

Now, when you load up CoD 4, it should just boot straight up and the error should disappear for good!

*sorry if there's already a post for this... I did search for one before I posted this one and couldn't find one.*

I've looked online for you can can't find a way to do it. Also, I'm in the UK, so I have absolutely no experience with AT&T :p

So far, the only way I can find to do it with ALL Internet Providers is to disconnect your PS3 from the Internet, start Call Of Duty 4 then reconnect to the internet and it bypasses the error. Annoying to do, but worth it to play some Call Of Duty 4. Smile

do you have to do it everytime you play cod 4?
