Not recommended for people who are new to building computers. This build is excellent for RAW computing power, such as Folding@home or Bitcoin mining in pools. Not the best choice for gaming, still a very capable and powerful machine.

There would be no need for a 2k build if I only put on 7970 in it. The 1k budget build would be good for that. The $2000 build is for enthusiasts.

And that PSU is horrible. Sure it's 80+ platinum but it's a 450W PSU for 100 bucks? I'd much rather prefer a 80+ Gold 850W one.

they all look good but your $500 you got a cheap case trade the 660 for a sapphire OC 7850 2gb and up it to a nicer $40 case

a $1000 build is borderline enthusiast but all these can be enthusiast you can be a expert and not have lots of money and own a $600 warrior pc like me

But you get the point. One does not simply buy a $2000 PC and put a single 7970 if they are gaming on it.

Well a 3930k still has some performance advantages when it comes to sheer processing power. It's still better for rendering, but really it's not worth the money at this point. Only in multi-threaded applications can it pull ahead of a 3770k. Hell even my 2600k is good for what it does.

Well you have a 7950 in that build. I'll add it as an alternate.
