This won't play AAA games at 4k. Maybe some crappy indie games

I haven't built it yet... However, all of the parts get here Friday and then the construction begins! I'll be able to play after about an hour that it all gets here! Super excited.

This computer will be able to game on 4k at 60fps, and it will be able to handle a HUGE work load. All around amazing first build.

Don't listen to toke. He's salty and full of shit.

Looks like a VERY solid build that'll bring you many hours of PC gaming for a long time. Watch the 970. Nvidia is having memory issues with them, so stay on top of that.

Welcome to PCMR brother. :y: Sir Gabe

Trust me, TOTALLY on top of that lol. My friend built his PC like 2 months ago *cough* where my *cough* inspiration came from *cough* *cough* and he used a 970. He plays bf4 on ultra at 4k with no issues. If a games graphics exceed BF4 then what is it to go down to 1920x1080 (which both of my brand new 23" monitors are stock with) so gaming at 4k won't be an issue. Besides, 3.5 GB of GDDR5 Ram is still a shit load. Definitely can't wait to get home from school, wait till 5:30, go out and sign that small ass screen from Newegg and then I'm on my way of being super careful and using a grounding strap and what not. Will be fun, and I assure you. The very next time I visit NGU I will be on a beast instead of some pussy 2.5 ghz laptop with 2 cores xD

Nevertheless welcome to the world of PC gaming. You made a wise choice. Takes a bit to get used to it, but once you do it's fucking awesome.

Just remember, it's not about the hardware, it's the software in your heart that matters. May your temperatures be low, and your framerates high. Praise GabeN.

Can’t trickshot me!
GTX 970 can't handle 4K, especially with RAM allocation issues. 3.5GB is fine for 1080p, but for 4K, you won't survive. You'll need two GTX 980 (or AMD equivalent) if you want 4K.

Is your friend using native 4K or NVIDIA's DSR 4K?
