My First Gaming PC!
Hey Everyone!
This has been my first post in ages (just saying). Anyway here are my specs! (keep in mind this is my first ever desktop and I am currently on a Alienware MX14 Laptop (yeah i know they are a rip off Not Happy or Sad)

CPU: Intel i7 4790
MB: Gigabyte z97x G3
RAM: G.Skill RipJaws-X 16Gkit (2x8G)
GPU: Gigabyte N970G1 GTX 970
SSD : Kingston Hyper X FURY 240GB
HDD : WD 3.5" Green 1TB
CASE: Thermaltake Black Core V71 USB3.0 Full Tower Case (without PSU)
PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower 750W 80+ Gold
OS: Windows 8.1 64bit (most likely upgrading to Windows 10 when it comes out)

So thats the specs! What do you guys think? (BTW I had a budget of $2k) Let me know if I should upgrade/change something!

CPU: i7 15% more performance for 50% more cost change to a i5 if you plan to overclock use the K version
MB: Not enough time to check the mb out sorry
RAM: Can get away with 8Gb but if you got the cash go with 16Gb doubt you would use it
GPU: Over the top but would get you decent fps in 1440p or 1080p you can downgrade from the highest end card if you wanted
SDSad Awesome Good
HDSad Awesome Bad go with the black series
PSU: Over the top max you want is 500w to 650w depends if you want another GPU later
CASE: Personal but looks okay
