(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); These are the games that you as a community have decided you would most like to be remade on a next gen console, with either upscaled graphics; more storyline or just general would love to play them again. Sorry to all the games you nominated that didn’t quite make the cut, but ever suggestion was a good suggestion, we just didn’t have space to fit all 47 in the top 10 Winky Winky Most of these however can be found on the PSN store as original PS1 games.[coverattach=1]

Coming in at number 10 in our charts, you have voted Ray Man. This was first released back in 1995 for the Atari Jaguar, MS-DOS and 2 months later, the Playstation and Sega Saturn. The game followed a 2D man battling through various levels and gaining new powers along the way by a fairy named Betilla. They went in the order of telescopic punching fist, hanging onto ledges, grappling (grabbing onto and swinging from flying rings), helicopter hair, and running.

<center><img src="https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/b/b2/SOCOM_-_U.S._Navy_SEALs_Coverart.png" width=431 height=550></center>

At number 9 we have SOCOM US Navy SEALs. Originally released for the Playstation 2 in 2002, it was one of the first games to make use of the PS2’s online adapter. It was also the first game to use a headset for offline voice commands and chat online.

<center><img src="https://www.kijo.no/wp-content/uploads/Spyro_The_Dragon_pal-front.jpg" width=431 height=550></center>

Off to number 8 now and we have Spyro the Dragon, released in 1998. This little purple dragon and his dragonfly friend Sparx had the quest to gather as many gems, dragons and dragon eggs as he could and unlock all the realms to beat the final boss.

<center><img src="https://image.com.com/gamespot/images/bigboxshots/9/920469_front.jpg" height=550 width=431></center>

At number 7 we have Need for Speed Underground 2. This game was released in March 2005 for multiple consoles. This game is based around street racing and tuning up your car to become the best racer on the circuit. It differs from the previous titles as it has a free roam capability. It had online play on the xbox but EA closed the servers back in 2007.

<center><img src="https://ocremix.org/files/images/games/ps1/8/metal-gear-solid-ps1-cover-front-eu-47060.jpg" width=431 height=550></center>

At number 6 we have the original Metal Gear solid. Developed by the legend himself Hideo Kojima, this game was first bought to Playstation. It featured cinematic cut scenes using the game engine and scripts. Selling more than 6 million copies and getting an average rating of 9.4/10. It has even made spin-offs including comics and novels.

<center><img src="https://img507.imageshack.us/img507/5378/thps4frontjw9.jpg" width=431 height=550></center>

Half way through our countdown we have Tony Hawk’s Pro skater 4, which was released on multiple consoles. This was the first game of the series to have a story mode, rather than timed levels to complete certain objectives. It also came with online play with between 3 and 8 people depend on how you were connected to the internet.

<center><img src="https://www.games.lt/w/gbox/176.jpg" width=431 height=550></center>

At 4 we have James Bond 007 Nightfire. This game was released on multiple platforms, originally coming to the shelves in November 2002. You play as a spy under the name of James Bond, as you battle your way through the different missions using an array of different guns and gadgets. This game is arguably one of the best games of the whole James Bond series.

<center><img src="https://roms.zophar.net/images/psx-covers/Twisted%20Metal%203%20%5BU%5D-front.jpg" width=431 height=550></center>

Now we are down to our top three which you have voted for! Developed by 989 studios in 1998, this game was the third instalment of the Twisted Metal series. Although this game wasn’t received very well by critics, getting under 50%, you have voted it to number 3. In the game you drive a car round a course in an attempt to eliminate the enemy competition. Your main object is to battle through all the different levels to defeat the evil calypso in his blimp.

<center><img src="https://gamenews.chez.com/ImagesPSX/CRASH_BANDICOOT_1.JPG" width=431 height=550></center>

At number two we have my personal favourite out of the top 10, Crash Bandicoot! Released in 1996 by Naughty Dog, it was one of the first games I ever had, only being 3 years old at the time but the game is still as vivid in my mind as ever, I could probably complete the whole game again due to the amount of time I played it. It follows the main character Crash, an experiment that was meant to be an evil controller of an army, but his creator Dr. Neo Cortex’s experiment went wrong so instead he battles his way through Wumpa Island to defeat him and meet up with Tawna, another bandicoot he grew close to during captivity. Along his quest he has to collect wumpa fruit and smash boxes to replenish his health for the boss fights along his way. Also he can collect Uka Uka masks which allow him to be hit without fainting or collecting 3 can lead to temporary invincibility.

<center><img src="https://media.gtanet.com/images/312_gtasa_ps2_boxart.jpg" width=431 height=550></center>

And here we are! Numero uno! It was made in 2004 by Rocks star and is the game you voted your favourite that you would like to see remade, and it is of course, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. This was probably one of the most complex games I’ve ever played. It literally has everything; boats, aeroplanes, cars, jet packs and helicopters. As well as a multitude of weapons and gadgets ranging from baseball bats and brass knuckles to rocket launchers and flame throwers. It consisted of 3 main islands that you unlocked as you went through the game, as a character called CJ. There were elements of this game that were never carried through to the next versions like parachutes, gang wars, appearance change and girlfriends.

Thank you for reading this thread it took about 4 days from start to finish and I couldn’t have done it without everyone who voted, even though it was open just over 24 hours, it accumulated 62 votes in total. I would also like to say some of these games are in fact available on either the PSN store or the xbox live store.
