Post: Final Fantasy XIII To Have 3 Discs On Xbox Confirmed

There has been previous speculation towards the amount of discs that will be used for Final Fantasy XIII on the xbox due to the size of the blu-ray disc in comparison for the PS3, but it has been confirmed that there will in fact only be 3 whereas there was a rumour that it would be 4. Of course this would take up just 1 blu-ray due to the size of the game. But with the 3 disc comes a minor problem. How will they get them in the box? I think they will make like my family guy DVDs where there is a separate plastic holder in the middle of the 2 sides or like old school games like Ridge Racer or even 2 disc CDs where they open out but these are just my thoughts. Opinion not fact.

Lol, I swear no-one apart from Japanese kids buy Final Fantasy games anyway. :p
3 discs = retarded to be honest, you would have to keep switching between them all the time. It would make most sense to put them like they do in Family Guy DVD's, but I hope they don't.

I'll be buying it. FF is great. 3 disc is pitiful for this generation though lol xbox.
Each disc is a progression of the story, once you beat 1 you go to 2, shoulnt be too much disc swapping.

yea 3 disc's is not fun, also the ps3 users lose out on a ton of content cut out to fix on the xbox

3 discs is just fine final fantasy 7 was 3 discs
8 was 4 ...makes no difference to me makes me
happier knowing a game needs to be spread out
its just more to enjoy and i assure you that alot
of people buy final fantasy and not all of them are asian

That was on regular CDs and what, 10-13 years ago? This generation of gaming shouldn't require that many discs. Easier to lose a disc and not able to finish the game.

i play final fantasy its brilliant cant wait for this one. Luckily i have a ps3 so i wont be seeing the screen "Please insert disc 2 " haa ill have all on one disc. Is this what they will do with gran theft auto 5 as it only just fit on there discs last time and wont be making there games any smaller
