intel mac will run windows, you can dual boot or i believe you can run it virtually,

You can but would have to change to windows instead of mac if you wanted to run tools for the ps3 bit if your making tools then your should be able to run visual studio on your mac. I could be wrong.

You need to Dual boot your Mac.

Actually I don't really know if you can start tools on Mac. I don't think so :p

You cant run RTM tools/Windows based tools on mac without dual booting the system.
However you can use sprx edit eboots using a FTP or usb

Not all the time, most of the programs I want to run on linux (paint.net is an example) won't run on wine, not sure about rtm tools though.
