This is what I've been doing: attack the enemy quickly pause the game, write down the damage inflicted on to the enemy (313) in the values,
set the type to 4 bytes, do an initial scan, attack again pause and repeat. But I can't find the address, am I using the right approach?

If that method isn't working then you might be better off finding what is writing to the enemies health address and make it always write 00.
