I'm still on Rogero 4.46 v1.01 and the last OFW released now is 4.83.

I kindly ask you a suggestion what to do, my main purposes are:
-play backups
-go online for some online gaming (i know is not safe and betetr not) and Amazon Video

Should I keep CFW I have (Rogero 4.46 v1.01) and get SEN enabler or Spoof 4.83 firmware, will this work?

Or update to a most recent CFW? which one?
I've heard of Cobra but I'm not sure i need all the features and probably i'd stick with a simplier CFW for my purposes?

or you can go and just install ferrox 4.83 and forget about SEN enabler. spoof and all that.

anyway I'd like also to understand if is possible to keep an old CFW (like Rogero 4.46) and install a spoofer to 4.83 to go online.
And if YES it is more risky than using a CFW 4.83

You can't go online on a firmware below 4.82 anymore (spoofer or not)

If I spoof to 4.83, the system will believe I'm on 4.83, doen't it?

it has nothing to do with the system. Sony added some checks that simply prevent everyone below 4.82 to sign up/in on PSN, no spoof will work against it.

you need cobra to play backups
unless you want to keep updating CFW or spoofing every time sony releases a new FW update I suggest DEX.

Install the latest one then all you need is some tweaking on Rebug toolbox and a spoofer. (for CEX)
you can ultimately use Ferrox CEX, but I am not suggesting any CEX CFW so that's on you.
