Post: E3 Flasher help

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i recently had purchased a e3 flasher, a new ps3 thats compatible, microsd with an adapter and a 16gb usb
I followed this tutorial

(Im at 29:30 in the video trying to update it)

Whenever i try to update my e3 flasher the lights dont light up. Sometimes the lights light up but when it does its only on the 0% and 100%, it switches with 1010000 then 00000101, None of the green or red lights show up either. If anyone knows what is happening I would appreciate any sort of help.

I have been having this problem for multiple days now

The e3 may not be properly installed into the hdd port if you get no lights at all..

It could be the light in your house or something, but the lights on the e3 look dim..if they are dim then that is a good indication that the clip is on the NOR chip backwards..

It is the connection from your ps3 to your e3 flasher. The flasher doesn't need to be connected in the hdd slot. And u maybe wanted to get a clamp to hold the ribbon to the nor chip. That's what i had to do. pm me your skype name.

I had a clamp holding it down but it seemed to not work properly whenever i used a clamp and only lit up when i used my finger my assumption is too much pressure
