i bought my dex cfw all ready to use on rebug and now there is a new rebug version.
i would like to update but im not sure if that would change my firmware version as my ccapi 2.60 does not support higher firmwares at the minutes and i always use it.
please help.

There is currently a ccapi 2.70 available that works on the latest filmware, be aware updating to the latest rebug can invalidate your current CID.

yeah thats what i mean,also all of my bo2 tools are for 2.60 so im not sure

Tools can be updated to 2.70 if you copy the files from the ccapi folder to your tool folder.

Yeah RTM tools can be updated by replacing the CCAPI.dll and PS3lib.dll where the RTM tool is located. Also since you're going to update your firmware make sure you know your console ID before updating, like SolidSRK said.
