There's 2 fixes. One being using the Blowdryer method (search it up on Youtube) but lasts only like 1-2 weeks. But the good thing is you can do it over. The other method is taking the whole PS3 apart till you reach the motherboard. You have to reflow the chips and board and re-apply new thermal paste. That should fix it for a very long period.
