It is possible, however the cost would be to way to high as there would be no income involved, also would be highly illegal, more illegal if profited from it. And the only ones who would be able to connect would be ppl with jailbroken PS3's unless used a strict proxy server with sister DNS servers and then only ppl in that region would have decent enough connections to play online. May pop up once PSN servers go down for PS3 but not likely.
