Just keep at it, because the Zangief method is the easiest.

Yeah giving it a go right now and its pretty simple now, just making sure every game counts for something then hitting start.
Here 1 thing though see when I load up the game, do I always have to play as Akuma 1st, or is that remembered? I just went straight in as Zangeif rather then beating as Akuma 1s upon load up.

Fuck sake just did all that and Akuma appeared at the end not Gouken.

What do you mean playing as Akuma 1st? You can choose any character to achieve this trophy.

If Akuma appears at the end, it means that you did not fulfill 1 of the requirements to face Gouken.

One of the requirements is beating the game as Akuma 1st

I did all the requirements and Akuma appeared, I know what I did as I wrote down each game.
Anyways just beat the game again as Akuma, going back for Hardest go again.
Is actually piss easy lol

Got my Platinum mate!
Had to do 6 First Attacks, 2 Perfects and 4 Ultras. Got him on the 4th try.

FINALLY i plated SFIV man this second controller is a lifesaver.

ok, i get the zangief spinning lariat, but whats his ultra combo to do? and the 2nd controller method, you just hang on to a #2, then if u are about to lose "press start" on #2 and it stops? Forgive me on this one, its been YEARS since i played SF 4 and of course this is my last trophy, cuz fuck legendary
