- go to Brute Force, and decrypt all files
- go to Cheats > Apply Cheat, and then choose and apply all the cheats you want
- then Encrypt all files
- then Decrypt all files again
- now open your Memory Sum Checker
- click on [ファイル (F)] > [ファイル (O)], go to file containing your save data, choose the file named "SAVES", and [OPEN] it
- and then press the blue play button

- it will give something on the bottom right like: SHOW:B3 E7 00 00 00 00

- copy/remember the first four digits after the word SHOW (ex. B3E7)
- back to Bruteforce, right click the save and select "Open Selected File In Patch Creator"
- scroll all the way down, and replace the XXXX with the 4 first digits you get from MemorySumChecker

heres the CRC program I used, with the plugins already there. Just unpack it and run the program, no install needed:

You must login or register to view this content.

The process to edit an FFX RM save:

1. Copy a save to USB as normal

2. load it in BSD 4.6.0

3. decrypt the PFD

2. select Apply Cheats

3. Choose the codes you want and apply them as normal

4. leave BSD exactly where it is, and open MemorySumChecker

5. The File menu is on Japanese, but right under it is a "refresh' icon and an icon to the right. Click the icon to the right.

6. Browse to your FFX save dir and load the file SAVES

7. click the blue Play button

8. In the bottom right window, you see something like: 0000&s-%SHOW:YY YY XX XX XX XX XX XX
where YY are digits and XX are all zeros. write the YY YY digits down and close the program.

9. Go back to BSD, and Apply Cheats again.

10. Click the Edit button at the bottom left

11. scroll all the way down and find the FFX checksum update code.

12. replace the XXXX part with the 4 digits you got from MemorySumChecker, click Save (this closes the wondow)

13. Apply Cheats yet again, this time select ONLY the Checksum Update code and apply it.

14. Encrpyt the PFD and go.

NOTE -- you MUST do this every time you apply codes!
