(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have a PS3 on the latest firmware and have no experience when it comes to jailbreaking, I don't want to sell it to gamestop or anything because it's not worth a dime. What should I do?

What's the cech code on the back? I believe if it's at CECH-2502B or higher i.e CECH-3001A then not much u can do as far as run a Custom firmware. But u can buy one from GameStop asking for a slim model with the CECH-2502A or lower i.e 2501B-2001A (not sure but believe that's the 2001A was slims 1st model) then return the one you have as long as the void warranty sticker is still on it. Just completely delete everything by reformatting through the options or recovery mode. Just tell them a story how it was a gift for someone but someone else was getting them a next gen console or something
