Post: (CUSA12776) Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise Ultra Starter Save

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Here we go again with another of my anti-grind, anti-time waster starter saves for Team RGG games. This game especially is extremely, astronomically grindy and there is a metric shit ton of crap to collect and do in the game. My save will literally remove all the grind from the game allowing you to simply enjoy going AAAAAATATATATATATAH to your heart's content!

Save features:

All Destiny Orbs x999
All Destiny Talismans at Enhance Level 3 (see note below)
All Consumable Items in the Item Box
All Equipment and Accessories in the Item Box
All Buggy Parts (Repaired)
All Materials x999
All Death Cry Collection Complete (almost, see note below)

Game is saved at the very first possible save point, so immediately after defeating Shin and the initial cutscenes with Ruka and the old man. If you want to see this content, just start a brand new game and play through it, then load my save once you reach the first save point.

Now, a disclaimer of sorts:

This save was created by hacking and re-regioning my Japanese version save so there MAY be issues later. Personally I have played a fair way through now and have not encountered any, but YMMV as usual. Going by how Team RGG games generally save their data, I'm pretty confident it'll be fine. Funnily enough this game's data is NOT saved in plain text unlike the Yakuza games, making it just a bit harder to hack.

This save does NOT have any Key Items or 'Valuables' as its called added as some of them can seriously break progression. Unfortunately this does include stuff like the arcade games, which you have to go and find yourself.

I have deliberately NOT added Max EXP, Max Money or Max Casino chips. Why? If I do that, then aside from finding Valuables there literally is nothing else to do! Besides if you really want these cheats they are available by default in Save Wizard so go ahead and add them yourself. Additionally as usual this save MAY or may not pop trophies out of order, or may block you from obtaining certain trophies. If the latter happens, do not come to me as I do not give a flying fuck for trophies. This save is provided 'as is' and you decide if you want to use it or not. The aim and purpose of this save is to cut out grind from the game, NOT to help you obtain trophies. If you want trophy saves, wait for someone else to make a save set.

With the Destiny Talismans, you still have to unlock them via progression. Once unlocked however they should automatically be available without having to actually craft them. All the Talismans will be available but only at the base level. Due to how the various refinement levels are unlocked via progression, all that can be done is giving them at Refine Level 1, Enhance Level 3 which is the max possible in the beginning. You will have to manually refine and further enhance them as you play, but at least all the MATERIALS required to do so, you have x999 of, so no farming needed!

Finally, the All Death Cry Collection is deliberately missing the very FIRST one, which you can get yourself by just doing a Perfect Channel strike on a Giant Thug in a fight (once you unlock the ability to do Perfect Channel that is). This will complete the collection and also pop the trophy. If you don't want to pop this trophy early on, well, you've been warned. The Death Cry Collection is literally one of the most annoying things to complete in this game and popping the trophy early may raise some eyebrows. If you care about this sorta crap then don't pop it or simply don't use the save. Reason for removing the first entry was due to the fact there was a really odd issue adding the entire collection causing a crash which removing the first entry solved... Why? I have no idea.

Enjoy the save and the game, it really is very good if not for the grind.

EDIT: Ok it seems like I need to add some very specific warnings since I'm getting PM's about the bugs and content blocking...

There are THREE instances in this game that were discovered in the Japanese/Asian version early on in the year where cheating could lead to either not being able to progress the story or missing substories or blah blah about trophies. While I couldn't give the tiniest fuck on a stick if you can't get a trophy, the other two issues ARE something at least worth addressing. I will say straight up right now: MY SAVE HAS NO ISSUES!

If you go and use Save Wizard on top of my save and break something, then GG you, don't come to me for help. I DID NOT USE ANY OF SAVE WIZARD'S BUILT IN CODES AT ALL TO CREATE MY SAVE!

Now that that's out of the way, these are the known issues:

In Chapter 6 you will eventually need tires that can drive over any sort of rocky ground. Progression will force you to take part in a Beginner level Buggy Race in order to win a set of WILD-001 tires. The issue was if you use any form of hacking to give yourself these tires BEFORE you have cleared this bit, you will be unable to progress as the story progression requires you to obtain, and then REPAIR these tires in order to install them. If you give yourself the tires in a repaired condition, naturally you cannot repair them again, and story progression is blocked. My save does not have this issue as it gives you all Buggy Parts EXCEPT the WILD-001 tires. You have to obtain these through the story as per norm, and then progress normally. Once you have cleared this progression point once in your first playthrough, the issue will never crop up again. New Game+ still has the forced story progression, but you will be able to exit without repairing and simply install the tires you have and the game will progress. There is only this blocking 'flag' on the FIRST INITIAL PLAYTHROUGH. If you have used a code from SW or anywhere else to give you all parts including the WILD-001 tires before you have cleared this story progression point YOU ARE FUCKED, GG you, you have to restart all over. THERE IS NO FIX except starting over.

In Chapter 10 you will eventually have to drive far south where you will need to break boulders for the first time. If you equip a Bumper that is capable of breaking rocks, you will skip over a small section of story content which will prevent you from triggering a substory later. This is easy to avoid as it IS avoidable: DO NOT EQUIP A ROCK BREAKING BUMPER before you drive south. Equip your default weak ass bumper and drive south until you come up up to the row of boulders. Ken will say that the buggy cannot go further and he should go back to Eden. Once you go back to Eden, a scene triggers with Bat where Ken asks him for a way to deal with the boulders and Bat gives him the Rockbreaker which you need to repair and equip. Unlike the Chapter 6 bug, it DOES NOT MATTER if you already have the Rockbreaker, just go ahead and repair it and install it anyway and continue the story normally. So long as you have viewed that scene where Bat gives you the Rockbreaker, you won't be blocked from any content. The content blocking bug is that there is a substory that requires you to have ANY bumper that is capable of breaking rocks. If you skip and do not view the scene where you receive the Rockbreaker, the game never sets a flag that says you have such a bumper, thus the substory will never trigger since the game thinks you do not have the required part, even if its in your inventory. If you have already skipped the scene unknowingly, relax, you're not fucked unlike the Chapter 6 bug... just start a New Game+ and you can view the scene there once you get back up to Chapter 10.

Finally, and this is also one of the reasons I did not use a Max EXP code on my save... If you give yourself Max Exp from the beginning to be instant Level 99, you will never be able to unlock a trophy for collecting Exp as the Exp bar never actually moves, since its maxed. If you want the trophy, you have to level up the proper way. Personally I give 0 fucks here, I'm only mentioning this as a warning to anyone who's trophy hunting: DO NOT give yourself Max Exp/Level 99 instantly if you want the trophy.

That's all. You have been warned.
