Is there a point in the game from when you can start to use it? I've tried using it right at the start when you get the gun but it doesn't work. Can anyone advice. Id be very grateful. I've also run into this issue.

So I've collected a few supplements and saved my game manually. I've applied the cheat for max supplements to this save and reloaded. Soon as I enter the game, its at the beginning of that part again and I have no supplements in my inventory and go back to the part of the game where I first collected them and have to collect them again.

As an add to the above.

I waited until I knew I had got to a new section, had 4 supplements saved game, applied max supplements again, reloaded and still only have 4 supplements.
