Firmware - 6.20


I have recently brought a PS4 of a mate for £60 works completely fine, I know there's no jailbreak/exploit out for this FW so far but these are just random questions.

Questions:

Any chance i can downgrade?

If any jailbreaks/exploits are released for this firmware could someone keep me updated incase i loose track ?

If i managed too jailbreak/exploit the PS4 can i play online?

If i can get online is there any ban risk yet if so any way too change CIDs yet?


Sorry if there repeats or useless questions but im just curious as i am hoping too get into the PS4 modding scene real soon...

No, you can't downgrade a Ps4

it depends on the time your able to jailbreak it you only can play online if the jailbreak is on the current firmware if not it would need a spoofer (which doesn't exist yet but don't know if it ever will release)

no idea about the changing cid thing but that's a thing you won't need to worry about for a while since it gonna take a long time (if it even gonna be a thing) to be online on a cfw ps4

Don't expect 6.20 jb anytime soon. You'll be waiting till PS5's release to even see a 5.50 jailbreak...

If mods were gonna come out for ps4 online...they would have already.
