Tested. Works great. No achieves pop up which is good as I dont want any to pop out of order. Went straight into true vault hunter mode and did 3 missions.

Hopefully i will get my missing achievements for missions i havent done when i end up getting further than where i was on my old save.

Does this save have the infinity pistol?

No but it does have Eridian Fabricator. Which shoots out weapons if you have enough eridium. Very cool.

If you don't keep manual backups of your saves before editing them, Save Wizard does for you unless I'm mistaken. Check the "backups" button.
