If it did before, a patch does sometimes change the way trophies pop but you can often trick your PS4 into download specific patches of many games. If you're ever interested in learning how to do that, some decent guides have been written for it specifically for Final Fantasy XV after a patch entirely removed the Comrades DLC from the game (turning it into a standalone experience, which of course removes the ability to get those trophies unless you use said tricks).

I haven't seen such a thread, but if someone were to create one and organize it well, it would be a pretty great addition to the forums. There aren't a lot of instant platinum games, though. Many people mistake platinum saves - which are not designed to trigger any trophies - for instant platinum saves and/or for platinum save sets. You might be able to filter through the forums by searching for "instant" and "insta", but I'd be cognizant of the comments people leave in any particular thread after testing a save.
