No it doesn't for everyone. Only cex noobs. If you are on dex cut hdd0/game/aw to usb0/gamei and select ex data in the game options. This will fix error 80010009 it worked for me.

Make sure the game is copied to harddrive. Then go into psnpatch, press L2 and then start, start. It will patch the game to 4.46, and will reboot system. Run game, update to 1.04 patch. Reboot system and launch game from multiman. Run.
