There always has to be one person to take things out of proportion...when i stated " hard to please " it was a figure of speech, with all the groans that's been occurring lately, there was no seriousness to the statement what so ever, also,on a side note was supposed to be slightly humorous...

When i say " advanced " all i mean is on a higher level than myself...there is no pointing fingers saying who is the most experienced coders here...man,people should be mature enough to understand this!

When i say advanced, i don't claim them to be the best, nor do i claim them to be perfect. Im judging by the actual difficulty of the software engineering they have performed, and further, the consistent quality. And i wasn't the one who said you were advanced, thank the OP - And, considering that in my experiences you have done nothing but be a negative influence on my threads and posts, i can have a bias towards your attitude. That menu i released was the first menu i ever released, and considering the fact that it had so many undiscovered functions and features, just to be treated like a skids copy paste work, was absolutely pathetic. I put hours upon hours into that project, and for a person newer to GSC to have his first menu thrown into the dirt from a more known coder was demotivating to say the least. And you know what? It doesn't matter anymore. I have learned much more than i knew then and at this point, iv'e done something no one else has, and soon it will prove its self.

I just hate to see people trying to please others instead of having goals individual of popular opinion, because when people who have influence on those goals don't appreciate the work they put into a project, it makes them stop. That is why the modding community is so limited; I see so many 'new' menu bases, all with the same internal structure because an advanced coder defined it and no one questioned it; I see so many projects with the exact same features and bugs as another identical project; And what do we have to blame for it? Innovation has been discouraged throughout this site if it isn't perfect, and to be honest i feel like no one cares about the actual end goal: a community having control over the game they enjoy.

Regardless, the end goal of that post was not to go against you personally; It was to explain that he shouldn't be trying to impress the 'advanced' community, rather, he should be creating new and original content. (Also, i just wanted to commend shark for the work he has done in total. Look at some of the stuff he has done external to GSC; He is no doubt an 'advanced' coder.)

TLDR Summary: Code for yourself to learn, not for commendation - You wont find it here.

Of course i understand that... I'm just tired of the community idea that coding is only good if it is commended by higher known creators. It was nothing against you, nor against others man. And reading it back to myself, i can see the apparent view, and i probably should have explained it better.

Alright so basically you are trying to say no one should look up to anyone in the community, please let that register into your head.. Okay thats long enough, if no one looked up to anyone in the community no one will make good menus because they have no one to impress/prove them-selfs too, but yea i would like to see what you have made that hasn't been seen before and if its good ill "Thank" the thread like i do to all the other good posts that are on NGU, but goodluck to all the people who are "trying to code" and i will look forward to seeing your menus BTW if you actually knew me you would know i'm not very hard to please and i'm a actual nice person.. so yea, peace! Tiphat

m8 my base structure is different than shark's and is unique. Just wait till I release it. And I've also done some projects outside of bo2 for gsc, such as my basic menu maker that isn't really well known. I also have a custom gsc injector I've never released or told anyone about. I've also started on a c++ gsc injector. And you know the reason we dislike threads is because most people want to release a quick menu and get fame instead of putting in effort to release new things. I like to think we are advanced because we put lots of effort into our projects which we have fun doing, and learn from. That's what makes you an advanced coder. Not the "level" of programming, because if it's copy pasted code, then remembering that code doesn't make someone advanced. Understanding is key. Programming is about having fun, and learning new things.

Im saying people should be driven by their own goals. Not that it's wrong to look up to others. Just wait. Look for Project Iconic SENTINEL release within the next week or so. Believe me, its original.

I hope you arent saying i copy and paste... And as far as the base? Its not released, so how would i know that? An advanced coder is one who can start from nothing and make something innovative and unique. Thats it. If its high level its easier to notice, thats all.

never said you did. and my base structure was from scratch when i first made it. And that's not true for every project, some really good projects don't get that much recognition.
